A 1996 registration by
Charles Isaacs of Moongate Farm in
North Carolina and
Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina, this cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Serendipity' × H. 'Blue Blazes'. Its
bluish green foliage changes to dark green as the growing season
progresses. The leaves are slightly cupped and corrugated. It
has pale lavender flowers in July followed by viable seeds.

Grenfell (2009) states: "Site in good light to light shade to retain the
blue color for as long as possible. A moderate increaser."
