Registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2003, this
slow growing, upright cultivar is a hybrid of an F1
seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict'.
It is a large size plant about 21 inches high by 24
inches wide with dark green foliage that has unstable streaked variegation of light green, blue-green and
shades of yellow. The leaves are broadly ovate,
moderately leathery, moderately wavy, heavily corrugated
and slightly shiny on top. It bears tubular flowers on
scapes about 19 to 23 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...heavily streaked, dark green pod parent; good
substance..."
