this yellow colored cultivar is a seedling of H. 'One Man's Treasure' ×
H. 'Stardust'. It is a medium size hosta
about 15 inches high by 27 inches wide. The broadly
ovate leaves are slightly wavy, slightly rippled and
slightly shiny on top. From late July into August, pale
lavender flowers with interior lavender centers bloom on
scapes 20 to 23 inches tall followed by viable seeds. The
registration materials state: "Bright yellow gold
foliage with red speckled petioles that lighten through
the season...lutescent (emerges greenish turning yellow
as the season progresses) ." |
