Registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2010, this
small size (6 inches high by 17 inches wide) cultivar is a hybrid of H. longipes. It is medium green in color with a white medial (center)
variegation with green speckles. The leaves are narrowly
ovate, moderately wavy, moderately folded and dull on
top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-August into
September on scapes 10 to 16 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...small mound of wavy foliage that is mottled
green and white in spring, plus late season
flowering from Kyushu Island in
Japan... center becomes greener..."
