Stuart Asch of Michigan registered this
hybrid of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' × an unnamed seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' in 2000. The large size plant grows to about
20 inches in height with dark green foliage that has yellow
streaks and thick substance. Near white flowers bloom in July.
The originator made the following comment on the
Fraternal Order
of Seedy Fellows website: "Named after my wife. Out of DB, and somewhat similiar, although the
streaking is much more subtle and not on every leaf. This is a nicely shaped
plant that really stands out, especially in the beginning of July, when a nice
flourish of flowers top this beauty. Has never left my yard."
