2020,
this fast growing, large size (24 inches high by 44
inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Krugerrand' ×
H. 'Queen of the Seas'. It is golden-yellow in
color and the broadly ovate leaves are slightly rippled,
moderately wavy and slightly shiny on top. Near white
flowers on scapes 24 to 29 inches tall bloom in July
followed by viable seeds. The
registration materials state: "...Nice contrast
between the golden yellow color and the green veins.
Holds up well late into the season...Limey green early
then turning golden yellow." |
