This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Winfield Blue' was registered by Dr. Leonard Jones of North Carolina in 2003. It is a medium size plant with blue-green foliage that has a gold colored medial (center) variegation. The leaves are moderately wavy and have thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.
