Originated by
Nagao Matsubayashi of Japan but registered in 2001
by Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio on his behalf, this cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Happiness'
(Japan).
A slow growing, small size plant, it grows to a height
of around 8 inches with a spread of about 13 inches.
The
leaves are light green with darker veins with a medium
green marginal variegation. Its foliage is ovate, slightly wavy, slightly twisted, slightly folded and dull
on top with a deeply curled tip. Tubular, pale lavender
flowers with purple stripes bloom on scapes about 16
inches tall bloom from August into September.
