This non-registered
cultivar is a sport of H. 'Midwest
Magic' from
Mark Zilis of Illinois. It forms a large size (21
inches high) mound with green foliage. The leaves have
good substance and are slightly wavy and corrugated.
Pale lavender flowers bloom in July and form many seed pods.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Though not exciting, it could be used as a complement
to 'Midwest Magic', Prairie Magic',
and 'Prairie Glow' in the landscape." |
