This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Rosedale Shady Lady' was registered by Robert Hackbarth of The Hosta Leaf in Colesburg, Iowa in 2015. The large size plant is about 18 inches high with a spread of around 35 inches.

Its dark green foliage has yellow streaked variegation and is slightly rippled, broadly ovate, slightly folded, slightly wavy, slightly corrugated and very shiny on top with pink petioles. Medium lavender, tubular flowers bloom from July into August and it sets viable seeds in streaked pods.
