There is an image of this cultivar on the Hosta Library. From the (low quality) photo, it appears to be a small size hosta with yellowish-green leaves. It is a hybrid of H. 'Artist's Palette'. This non-registered cultivar was originated by Alex Malloy of New York. 

The Merovingian dynasty was founded by Childeric I (c. 457 – 481), the son of Merovech, leader of the Salian Franks, but it was his famous son Clovis I (481–511) who united all of Gaul under Merovingian rule.
