This was listed as the mother plant of a sport named H. 'Mason
Hollow Lemon' which was originated by
Chuck & Sue Anderson
of Mason Hollow Nursery in New Hampshire. It is probably a rapid growing,
medium size hosta with foliage that is narrowly ovate shaped, slightly wavy and has thin textured.
It should bear bright purple flowers in July and may re-bloom in
September the same as its sported progeny.
There is
also a cultivar named H. 'Lemon
Meirngue'. |
