Registered by Steve and Sarah Zolock of Pennsylvania in 2008, this
upright growing, medium size (15 inches high by 30
inches wide) cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Riptide'.
Its leaves are blue-green in color, broadly ovate, slightly corrugated, slightly cupped and slightly shiny on
top. Lavender flowers in clusters with dark stripes
bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 24 to 27
inches tall followed by dark lavender seed pods. According to the registration materials: "...dark lavender flower buds, disease and insect
resistant, flower head clustered, thick substance...green in fall..."
