This non-registered cultivar is a large size (18
inches high by 24 inches wide) hosta from
Bill Meyer
and
Carol Brashear
of Connecticut. It emerges chartreuse in color in the spring but changes to
golden-yellow later in the summer. The leaves are nearly round and heavily
corrugated giving a rugose texture. Very pale lavender flowers bloom in July.
This was the official hosta of 2011
National
Convention of The
American Hosta Society in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
