Greg Johnson of Iowa registered this hybrid of an unnamed, streaked seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' × H. 'Gold Regal' in 2004. It forms a large size plant with green foliage that has a yellow medial (center) variegation. The leaves have thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in June or July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...is a sibling to 'Pianissimo'."
