this cultivar is a miniature size (3 inches high by 7
inches wide) seedling of [(H. 'William Lachman' ×
unnamed H. capitata seedlng) ×
H. 'Tiny Tears']. It is a
slow growing, rhizomatous plant with foliage that is
medium green with pale yellow and light green streaked
variegation. The leaves are ovate, slightly wavy,
slightly rippled and slightly shiny on top. Medium
lavender flowers bloom from June into July on scapes up
to 14 inches tall. The
registration materials state: "...Tri-colored mini of good
substance with shiny foliage...center becomes whiter through
the season."
