Lloyd Bachman of Minnesota registered this sport of H. 'Fortunei' in 1992. Its large size mound grows to 23 inches in height and 58 inches wide with slightly corrugated foliage. The lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...closely resembles 'Gold Standard' except for the fact that the center turns green by midsummer when grown in the shade.
