 This is another in the series of
"American Indian Series" of hostas by
Van
Wade of Wade and Gatton Nursery
(Closed 2019) of Ohio.
It is the upright, dark green hostas shown
above.
The Mandans were a tribe
that lived in North Dakota. Hosta Helper will call this plant
'Mandan' (Wade)

This is one
of those cases where there are two hostas with the
same name. Neither is registered with The American Hosta Society. The first one to be registered would
become the "official" hosta of that name and the
other would have to be renamed.
