Stuart Asch of Michigan registered this
seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' in 2005. The plant grows to a
medium size 15 inches high by 36 inches wide. Its green foliage
has a creamy white marginal variegation with some streaking in
the center. Leaves are broadly ovate, somewhat unruly and have
thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.
The originator made the following comment on the
Fraternal Order
of Seedy Fellows website: "This is one beautiful
plant. In production at Walter's Garden. Wide creamy
borders surround a deep blue-green center on the twisted
leaves. Medium size mound with densely packed leaves
make this hosta a sight to see. Larger leaves are a
pleasant combination of waves, cupping and corrugation."
