this miniature size (4.5 inches high by 18 inches wide) cultivar is
a
sport of H. 'Lightning Bolt'. The lanceolate
foliage is golden-yellow in color and is slightly
folded, slightly rippled, slightly wavy and dull on top.
Pale purple flowers bloom from late June into July on
scapes 15 to 18 inches tall. It sets seeds but they are
non-viable.
The registration materials state: "...Narrow
undulating leaves of bright golden yellow turn pale
yellow green later...golden yellow turns pale yellow
green later." |
