Mark Zilis of Illinois
and registered by him in
2009, it
is a slow growing seedling of H. 'Frances Williams' ×
(H. 'Marilyn' × H. 'Tardiflora').
It is a medium size hosta about 16 inches high by 39
inches wide with intensely blue-green foliage. The
broadly ovate leaves are moderately wavy and slightly
corrugated. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July on
scapes about 22 inches tall. Seed viability was unknown
at the time of registration. The
registration materials state: "...dark green by
August 15."
