Originated in Japan, this non-registered hosta is one of several sports of Hosta longissima longifolia that has yellow-gold medial (center) variegation. The others cited by Mark Zilis include Hosta longissima aureomaculata and 'Kinakafu Nagaba Mizu'.

Since this is a sport of Hosta longissima longifolia, it should be a miniature size plant with narrowly elliptic leaves. Pale lavender flowers with 4 or 5 blossoms per scape bloom in September.
