2022,
this upright growing cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Paradise
Joyce' ×
H. 'Fire Island'. It is a medium size hosta about
14 inches high by 32 inches wide with bright yellow
foliage. The ovate leaves are slightly corrugated,
slightly rippled, slightly shiny on top and very shiny
on the bottom. Medium lavender flowers with slightly
darker stripes bloom from late July into August on
scapes 18 to 24 inches tall. Seed viability was unknown
at the time of registration. The
registration materials state: "Fluorescent yellow
leaves for weeks in the spring. Lightly rippled leaves
form a dense vase-shaped rosette...Becomes more
chartreuse in summer."
