Registered by
Charles Kwick
of Wisconsin in
2019,
this upright growing, large size (20 inches high by 30
inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sagae' ×
H. 'Captain Kirk'. It has dark green foliage with
slightly rippled margins. The leaves are nearly round,
very shiny on top, slightly folded and heavily
corrugated. White flowers with pale lavender stripes
bloom in July on scapes 28 to 34 inches tall. The
registration materials state: "...darkens somewhat
throughout the season."
Although we could not find any information on Lord
Puckersheen, we did find a type of fabric pattern called
pucker sheen shown above.
