of Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as having unidentified parentage. It is a miniature size (6 inches high by
15 inches wide) hosta with medium blue-green foliage
that has a light green to creamy white marginal
variegation. The
ovate leaves are slightly twisted and slightly wavy.. It bears
pale purple, tubular shape
flowers with stripes from June into July
and sets seed but their viability was not known at the
time of registration.
According to the Registration materials: "Petite volunteer seedling
features blue green leaves with narrow light green to
yellow margins and white leaf edges. Occasional
streaking of the margin color into the center occurs.
Purple streaked balloon-shaped buds open in July." |
