This sport of
H. 'Lancifolia' was originated by
Eunice Fisher
of Wisconsin but registered in 1995 by
Peter Ruh
of Ohio and
Ran Lydell of
Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York on behalf of her. It is a small
size plant that grows 7 inches high with a spread of around 16
inches. The foliage is medium green and elliptic in shape.
Purple flowers bloom in August.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...actually a green-leaved
H. sieboldii-type."
