Alex Malloy of New York registered this sport of H. 'Flash Dance' in 2004. The leaves have a medium blue-green center with a margin that starts out yellow but changes to creamy white as the season progresses. This small size plant bears pale lavender flowers in June.

The registration materials state: "...small blue with cream edge."

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Since 'Flash Dance' is a sport of 'Pacific Blue Edger', 'Little Boy Blue' is essentially a margined version of 'Pacific Blue Edger'."
