This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Placemat' which was registered by Gayle Kamp of Indiana in 2001. It is a medium size hosta about 16 inches high by 18 inches wide with very dark green foliage. The leaves are deeply wavy, corrugated and shiny on top with thick substance. Pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers bloom in June. It sets viable seeds.
