this miniature size (4.5 inches high by 14 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H.
'Lemon Lime'. The dark green leaves are elliptical,
flat, dull on top and slightly shiny on the bottom. Its
petioles are reddish up into the leaf base. Medium
lavender flowers with stripes bloom from late November
into December (June into July) on reddish colored scapes 6 to 10 inches
tall followed by viable seeds in dark red pods.
The registration materials state: "...Small, neat,
tough sibling of H. 'Mighty Min' and
H. 'Lemon Honey'
with reddish scapes, seed pods and petioles...Color
holds entire season.."
