2021
as a seedling of H. 'One
Man's Treasure' ×
H.
plantaginea. It is a medium to large size (17 inches
high by 29 inches wide) hosta with greenish yellow foliage. The
narrowly ovate leaves are slightly cupped, slightly
twisted and deeply wavy. It bears fragrant, pale purple,
tubular flowers with purple stripes from August into
September but does not set seed.
According to the Registration materials:
"Narrow wavy yellow leaves with fragrant and unusual
light purple striped & speckled flowers on leaning
scapes...lightens as season progresses or with sun
exposure, darkens in shade..."
