small size (10 inches high by 24 inches wide)
cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It has green
foliage with a greenish-yellow medial (center)
variegation. The leaves are ovate, flat and dull on top.
Pale lavender flowers that are nearly white on the
outside and pale lavender on the inside bloom from late
June into July on scapes 7 to 12 inches tall followed by
viable seeds.
The registration
materials state: "...In early summer a thin white
line develops between the center and margin
colors...White line between center and margin color
appears 1 to 1.5 months into each season." |
