This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Fortunei Aureomarginata' originated by Gary Trucks of Michigan. It is a medium to large size hosta with dark green foliage that has a gold colored medial (center) variegation.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...roughly similar to 'Gold Standard'."
