The result of a cross of H. 'Elegans' × H. 'Tokudama', this cultivar was registered by Dr. David Reath of Michigan in 1986. It forms a giant size mound with leaves that are heavily corrugated and have thick substance. Clusters of near white flowers bloom in late June.
