Don Dean of Minnesota registered this upright, medium size (11 inches high by
27 inches wide) hybrid of ((H. 'Liberty Bell' × (H. 'Urajiro
Hachijo' × H. pycnophylla)) x H. 'Ebony Spires') x H. 'Astral Bliss'
in 2013. The medium blue-green foliage has yellow
marginal variegation. Its leaves are broadly ovate, serrated, slightly twisted, moderately corrugated and glaucous on top. Pale
lavender, tubular flowers with a medium lavender center bloom in
August. It sets viable seeds.
