This hybrid of H. kiyosumiensis x H. pycnophylla was originated by Hajime Sugita of Japan and was registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1998. It grows into a large size hosta about 19 inches in height with a width of around 46 inches. The medium green foliage is slightly rippled, with purplish red petioles. Lavender flowers bloom in August.
