A hybrid of H. 'Tsugaru Komachi' × an
unnamed seedling, this cultivar was registered by
Mary Chastain of
Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee in 2006. It is a small size plant
about 5 inches high by 12 inches wide with medium green foliage that
has a white marginal variegation. Pale lavender flowers bloom from
June into July. Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled,
A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term komachi as a beauty or a belle.
