The plant shown above was incorrectly labeled 'Lakeside
Ringmaster'.
This cultivar which resulted from
a cross of a streaked form of H. 'Lakeside Roy El' × H. 'Lakeside Ripples' was registered in 1998 by
Mary Chastain of
Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee.
It forms a large size mound of leaves that are ovate, slightly wavy
and smooth textured. The near white flowers bloom from late July into August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...may be one of Mary Chastain's best."
