This hybrid of an unnamed seedling x H. 'Sea Monster' was registered by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee in 2002. It forms a large size mound about 22 inches tall with a spread of about 72 inches. The bluish-green foliage is shiny and becomes more dark green as the season progresses. Narrow petaled, pale lavender flowers are produced in July.
