Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee registered this small size hybrid of two of her unnamed seedlings in 1997. It is light green with a white marginal variegation in the spring and changes to a darker green with a white edge as the season progresses. The leaves are narrowly elliptic and wavy. Deep purple flowers bloom from July into August.
