This hybrid of an unnamed streaked seedling x an
unnamed seedling was registered in 1998 by
Mary Chastain of
Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee.
It grows into a medium size hosta around 13 inches high and spreads to a width of 27
inches. The foliage is wavy, narrowly ovate and has a thin bloom
on the underside. Lavender flowers bloom in July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This cultivar rapidly becomes a highly ornamental mound of
very wavy, white-margined foliage and would be an excellent
choice as a ground cover."
