This small size cultivar was originated and registered in 2003 by Mary Chastain of Lakeside Acres Nursery in Tennessee. It is the result of a cross of H. 'Lakeside Knickknack' × H. 'Lakeside Little Gem'. The plant bears pale lavender flowers starting in late July.
