Ran Lydell of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York registered this seedling of H. pycnophylla in 2001. This medium size plant has medium green colored foliage. The leaves are slightly rippled, ovate and have smooth texture. Pale purple flowers bloom in October.
