this slow growing cultivar is a small size (10 inches
high by 18 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Queen
Josephine'. It has greenish-yellow leaves that are
broadly ovate, slightly folded, moderately corrugated
and slightly shiny on top. Near white flowers with light
lavender stripes bloom in July on scapes up to 36 inches
tall followed by seeds whose viability was not known at
the time of registration.
The registration materials state: "...Tightly
bunched mound of slightly shiny, moderately corrugated
leaves...shiny surface dulls somewhat later in the
season ."
