Registered by
Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2022,
this upright growing cultivar is an
open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Captain
Kirk'. It is a medium size hosta about 17 inches
high by 30 inches wide. The broadly ovate foliage is dark green, slightly
rippled and slightly cupped with deeply impressed veins.
From late June into July, near white flowers with very
pale lavender mini-stripes bloom on scapes 24 to 32
inches tall. Seed viability was unknown at the time of
registration. The
registration materials state: "Velvety leaves
slowly develop a color variation whereby the leaf
centers seem lighter than the outer edges...leaf centers
lighten somewhat as the season progresses."
