Originated by
Charles Kwick
of Wisconsin, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as a seedling of H. 'Blue Umbrellas'. It is a
large size (22 inches high by 42 inches wide) hosta with
blue-green foliage. The nearly round leaves are slightly
corrugated, slightly folded
and slightly shiny on top. It bears pale lavender,
tubular shape
flowers with stripes in July and sets seed but their
viability was not known at the time of registration.
According to the Registration materials: "Rounded mound of large blue
green, gently folded leaves with wavy margins...darkens
slightly later in the season..."
