A medium size (12 inches
high by 24 inches wide) hosta, this cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered in 2005 by
Peter and Jean
Ruh of Ohio on behalf of the originator,
Heinz Klose of
Staudengärtnerei Klose in Germany. The foliage is chartreuse to golden
yellow in color and is slightly corrugated. Pale lavender flowers bloom
in July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...most often listed as 'Konkobine', but that is an
incorrect spelling for the German word for "concubine"."
