This sport of H. 'Fortunei
Aureomarginata'
was originated by
Hugh Redgrove of New Zealand and
registered in 1999 by
Barry Sligh of Taunton Gardens in New Zealand as part of his
Kiwi Series of
hostas. It forms a medium size mound about 22 inches in height
by 45 inches in width. The leaves are ovate shaped and they have
a thin bloom on the underside. Pale lavender flowers bloom in
July.
