This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered in 1999 by
Barry Sligh in New Zealand as part of his
Kiwi Series of
hostas. It forms a medium size (15 inches high by 24 inches wide) mound of slightly wavy,
ovate-shaped leaves. Pale lavender flowers open in July followed
by viable seeds.
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "...tolerates sun in cooler climates. Vigorous, a
rapid increaser."
