This sport of H. 'Tokudama' is part of the "Kiwi Series" of hostas from Barry Sligh of Taunton Gardens in New Zealand. It was registered in 1999. The plant grows to around 19 inches in height and 30 inches in width. Its foliage changes from light gold to dark green as the season progresses. Near white flowers bloom from mid-June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...at its best, it can only be considered a collector's curiosity."
