this large size (24 inches high by 44 inches wide)
cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It has yellow
foliage which develops some green later in the season
but remains basically yellow. The broadly ovate leaves
are slightly cupped, slightly rippled and slightly shiny
on top. White flowers bloom from June into July on
scapes 22 to 30 inches tall. Viability of the seeds was
unknown at the time of registration. The
registration materials state: "Emerges bright
yellow. Develops a slight green cast mid-summer while
maintaining an overall yellow color that stands out
among the other hostas in the garden...develops a slight
green cast mid-summer." |
